About Us

The Speech, Language and Literacy Co (The SLLC) is a private speech pathology practice based in Sydney’s inner west. The SLLC is owned and managed by Joanna Madej.

Joanna Madej is a Certified Practicing Speech Pathologist (CPSP) with extensive experience in providing services and working alongside families, schools and other professionals in an evidence-based, professional and personable way. She enjoys learning about neurodivergence and applying new evidence and ideas to practice. At present, she predominantly works with children and young adults, focusing on: literacy, support at school, transitions to school, stuttering, speech sound and articulation difficulties, feeding issues and language difficulties.

Joanna has worked for non-government organisations, including Lifestart and Learning Links, and in private practice. Joanna holds a Masters degree from The University of Sydney, and has over 10 years of clinical experience.
